Priest River Lamana High School | Shelby Senior Portraits
Meet Shelby, everyone! This Priest River Lamanna High School senior is graduating in 2019, and boy does she ever have a future ahead of her. Shelby was my very first senior portrait session since moving here to Sandpoint, Idaho a few months ago. Did she ever kick it off with a bang!
This beautiful senior girl has plenty of hobbies and interests. I wanted to make sure that we were showcasing as many as possible during her senior portrait session, and that’s just what we did! Shelby loves to fish and be outdoors. She also enjoys driving around in her pretty sweet Audi TT. It was so much fun being able to photograph Shelby in her element.
We began this super fun day giving Shelby the royal treatment. I partner with an amazing hair and makeup team based in Sandpoint, Idaho. Together, the three of us transform my seniors from head to toe. I asked Shelby what her favorite part of the day was, and she answered, “Just having fun and feeling beautiful.” Bingo! That’s exactly what I go for!
Just a few weeks before her senior portraits, Shelby had a pretty wicked tattoo done her forearm. She says,
“It’s a compass because I want to travel, but I will look at it and always remember where home is. It points Northwest, and has the latitude and longitude of Priest River, which is where I was born and have lived my whole life.”
Does that not give you chills?!? Personally, I’m a huge lover of meaningful body art, so I was super excited to be able to incorporate a few poses that showed off her new ink.
Our 20-acre farm here in Sandpoint, Idaho has become a very popular location choice for my seniors. We started out at the farm, and ended on a gorgeous beach setting along the Pack River just before sunset. The lighting was absolutely perfect. It was the most beautiful spot to showcase Shelby’s last look.
Shelby, you are a total rockstar. Thank you so much for choosing me to capture such a special time in your life. You have an incredible future ahead of you, and I know you will be doing great things.
