It was an absolute pleasure having the opportunity to photograph these first-time parents. How stinkin’ gorgeous is Robin!?! Robin and Brandon are such an incredibly sweet couple who are clearly already head over heals in love with their little boy. We spent a gorgeous summer evening on our farm in Selle Valley capturing this special time for them for their Sandpoint maternity photos.
When asked what he’s most looking forward to in becoming a dad, Brandon said, “Getting to watch my son experience everything for the first time.” How cool is that? It’s so true, isn’t it. You almost get to re-experience everything yourself by watching them experience it for the first time. Children sure do have a way of making even the simplest of things seem like the most exciting thing ever.
After sending Robin their full maternity gallery, she shared, “We will treasure these photos forever. I’m SO glad we did it, and even more glad that we chose you. You did a wonderful job, they are everything I hoped and more. Thanks again!”
Well, Robin, I’m really glad you decided to capture this moment, too! And on top of that, I’m even more excited to be soon meeting your baby boy when we get together again for your in-home lifestyle newborn session!
I sometimes find myself daydreaming about a time in the future when my clients will be looking back on the photos that I took of them, reliving the memories, and feeling so grateful to have taken the time to prioritize freezing these moments in time.
