Riska | Kicking College to the Curb | UNC Charlotte Senior
When Riska contacted me, we instantly connected. She shared her personal story. And when I heard her reasoning for getting her college senior portraits taken, I just knew that we were a perfect match for each other. I love working wit passionate people who work hard for what they want to accomplish in life. It’s inspiring. It’s motivating. And it’s the reason I absolutely love my job.
Riska graduated from UNC Charlotte with her B.S. in Civil Engineering, and she already had a job lined up before she even sat for her boards. Hot dang! Yeah, she’s pretty much a rock star. I can’t wait to share her amazing images with you.
The day started with professional hair and makeup by the fabulous Amber Hilton Hair and Makeup. After all the beauty prep was finished, we began the session at Glencairn Garden in Rock Hill, SC. The flowers were all on-point. And the weather? The weather could not have been more perfect. She had this little white dress with a killer combo of candy apple red necklace and pumps. It. Was. STUNNING. After a quick outfit change and a few more shots, we headed to UNCC to finish out the day.
My favorite part of this location wasn’t necessarily photography related, it was the simple fact that I was able to stroll the same sidewalks that she had walked so many times in order to accomplish something huge in her life. We chatted about her favorite spots, where her graduation ceremony would be, and how excited that this was actually a reality, at last.
We ended the evening with some super fun cap and gown shots. I had so much fun capturing all the details for her. She had so many fun ideas.
Riska, you are going places. Big places. I wish you only the best in all that you do. Good luck, girl! Go kick some adult life butt!
