James + Sarah || Fall Engagement in Pennsylvania

I am not a wedding photographer, but when my brother-in-law and his new fiance asked me to capture this special time for them, I just couldn’t say, “No.”  Even though most of the families I photograph have children aboard, it was so nice to switch it up with a furry friend with this couple.  I am so excited for Sarah to join this crazy bunch of Mowerys.  I hope she knows what she’s signing up for.  At least, that’s what I was told by both my mother-in-law and sister-in-law when Jon and I first got engaged.

We call James the “voice of reason,” because he just has such a calm and sweet personality, which balances well with Sarah’s more outgoing self.  They make a fantastic pair, and I couldn’t be happier for them both.

We met up in Pennsylvania while I was visiting my parents recently.  The fall foliage had peaked, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop.  Fall has been, and will always be, my favorite season to photograph (for obvious reasons).
